I thought I would share a picture of my main Z palette with my Makeup Geek eyeshadows. By the way it's an X-Large one and it fits 35 eyeshadows although the last one isn't easy to fit in!
I know it can be hard to find pictures when we're trying to buy something online so hopefully it will help you out! I'm currently testing the formula and will update you soon on it!
As soon as I opened the PR package containing the Marc Jacobs Le Marc Lip Creme Lipsticks* I knew I needed to do a blogpost and lip swatch video reviewing them!
I never actually properly took the time to look at these lipsticks in Sephora because at 36$CAN ($30US) they are not cheap! Now that I have had the chance to look (and try!) them I have to admit they all look beautiful!
The packaging is sleek, shiny and black... and wait for it... it's magnetic!
No more opening your purse to realize your lipstick exploded everywhere! But it does make it hard to take pictures of them all lined up :P

Boy Gorgeous: Berry Rouge - Easily another one of my favorites this red berry shades will look perfect on everyone!
Magenta: Grape Sangria - This one reminds me of Mac Rebel but with a hint of a blue sheen to it. It's not a frost but it's not fully a cream finish like the other ones! It is a bit more sheer too.
Blow: Dark Berry Velvet - Hello vampy shade! If you like dark lipsticks this one is for you! It has a bit of a cool undertone and has a bit of berry to it.
Scandal: Intense Plum - Last but not least this purple lipstick is quite fun! The formula is unfortunately a bit more uneven but with a lip liner you can make it work.

REVIEW:
On average the Marc Jacobs Le Marc Lip Creme lipsticks last around 5-6 hours on my lips. They will resist drinking and light eating although they do transfer. After a full meal or eating anything oily I will feel the need to reapply .
You are left with a stain but it does feel drying at that point.
I was asked if I was interested in trying out the new Too Face Born This Way foundation and of course as any makeup addict I said yes!
Too Faced Born This Way Foundation : (L-R) Porcelain, Ivory, Vanilla, Nude, Warm Nude, Light Beige, Natural, Warm Beige, Sand, Golden, Honey and Caramel.
*The frost of the bottle can make it difficult to show what the color in the bottle looks like in direct light!*
When you have dry skin, full coverage foundations can be a nightmare - dry patches, feeling of wearing a mask - but this foundation is 100% the opposite!
June 15: This foundation has been available on the Too Faced website.
July 15: It will be available in stores - Sephora
It is $39US, 52$CA for 1oz of product.
Too Face Born This Way - Nude (wet/dry) and Porcelain (wet/dry)
As you can see the colors tend to dry a shade darker. I personally can use Porcelain (which I choose to in my video and pictures here!) but Nude is also a great match as it has a cool undertone!
Porcelain - light neutral shade
Ivory - Fair with yellow undertone
Vanilla- Light with neutral-yellow undertone
Nude : Light with pink undertone
Warm Nude: Light-medium neutral
Light Beige light medium neutral to yellow undertone
Natural Beige: Medium with golden undertone
Warm Beige: Tan with golden undertone
Sand: Medium-Tan with yellow undertone
Golden: Tan with neutral pink undertone (red)
Honey: Tan with neutral to golden undertone
Caramel: Tan-Deep neutral to red undertone
Too Faced Born This Way Foundation : (L-R) Porcelain, Ivory, Vanilla, Nude, Warm Nude, Light Beige, Natural, Warm Beige, Sand, Golden, Honey and Caramel.
Cons: Right away you can notice the range of colors is missing a few things. First off, there's not many cool tone foundation and there is clearly a need for a lighter shade with a cool undertone!
Porcelain has a neutral undertone and is darker than Ivory and would probably be between Nw15-20 in Mac - clearly not light enough!
Second, just as obvious there's a lack of shades for WOC! The only one that can work is the last one and it clearly won't work for everyone.
Considering it is a new release and Too Faced hasn't done many foundation we're hoping they will expand the range soon!
Too Faced Born This Way Foundation - Porcelain - Light Neutral
Pros: This foundation really impressed me. The packaging of pretty heavy frosty glass with the nice addition of gold looks beautiful! The fact that it has a pump wins some big points for me!
I've never experienced such a full coverage foundation that still feels lightweight and doesn't make my face looks dry! It lasted all day and looked even natural in natural sunlight! It could be due to the foundation containing Hyaluronic Acid and Coconut water.
Overall, if you can find a color in the range, I would recommend it if you're still looking for a natural medium to full coverage! I know I'm not disappointed with it - it actually makes me second guess myself about the Nars All Day luminous foundation (I'll have to try that again!).
Too Faced Born This Way in Porcelain Before/After
Em :)
Too Faced sent me the foundation to review. I was not compensated for this post. As always my opinions are my own and are honest :)
I've recently been trying to find the perfect tinted brow gel for those days when I'm in a rush or looking for something natural.
After experimenting with three different ones for a few weeks I thought I would share my thoughts!
Tinted Brow Gel - Maybelline Brow Drama, NYX Tinted Brow Mascara and Benefit Gimme Brow
Maybelline Brow Drama in Soft Brown:
Let's just start by quickly mentioning that the darker shade would have probably been a better match. With that said, I still think it would have been a fail.
The main reason is that the wand is NOT user friendly. The tip as you can see is a big ball... It is personally bigger than my natural brows and although there's not too much product on it, it's easy to make a mess.
I'm not sure why they added the part at the end as it is not possible (unless you try crazy angles) to reach the tail of you brows with it. I wish it was a smaller cone shape!
The formula was okay. It looked a bit too wet on the brow and didn't make them look full. Again a darker shade might have helped for that part. Most of the brows did however stay in place.
This is the best drugstore one of the bunch! The wand works much better and the color surprisingly matches me. I have to say when I first received it I expected it to be too warm but it wasn't the case!
Most of my brows stayed in place and it did add a bit of color and fullness to the brow especially on the tail!
I would recommend it especially if you already have pretty full brows with not empty parts!
My favorite of them all! It's almost not fair to compare it to the other ones since it has little fibres in it. The wand is perfect in size although there is sometimes a bit too much product on it.
The color is great - not too dark and a cool tone! It last well all day but the best part is that any sparse area will be filled in and look really natural.
To me it is totally worth spending the money and not having to use powder and brow gel when I'm in a rush.
I haven't posted Mac dupe lipsticks in a while so I thought I would share some of my favorite colors especially for spring/summer! A few of these were requested! I posted a video on it on my youtube channel!
Wet n Wild Megalast lipstick in Pinkerbell VS Mac Viva Glam Nicki
Although the consistency isn't exactly the same I would still consider them dupes so if you missed out on the Mac Viva Glam Nicki lipstick I would recommend getting the Wet n Wild one. It is a bit more drying but it is also more pigmented.
Wet n Wild Megalast lipstick in Pinkerbelle VS Mac Viva Glam Nicki VS Lime Crime Geradium
For those who were looking for a dupe for Lime Crime Geradium, the Wet n Wild lipstick is also a great option!
Wet n Wild Megalast in Don't Blink Pink VS Mac Viva Glam Miley
Not perfect dupes but similar enough to mention. Mac Viva Glam Miley being an amplified finish is more moisturizing and shiny than the Wet n Wild Don't Blink Pink shade but also more sheer. You will need a few swipes to get the color to show up perfectly.
Wet n Wild Megalast in Don't Blink Pink VS Mac Viva Glam Miley
Candy Yum Yum is one of these lipsticks that although they are bright and full they're also not that unique. In fact without even trying to find dupes I easily found 4 similar shades in my collection.
Swatched on my arm Milani Matte Diva seems to be the closest in color also with the matte formula but on my lips I suspect Maybelline Fuchsia Flash might be closer in color but it is a cream finish. On my lips Diva turns a little bit darker and more purple. Without the direct comparison no one would notice. NYX Matte lipstick in Shocking Pink could be added here along with a lot more shades!
Colour Pop Scandy, Milani Matte Diva, Mac Candy Yum Yum, Milani Rose Hip, Maybelline Fuchsia Flash
I've been asked so many times to compare these two so here we are! Patina is a hint darker and more purple. Marvelous Mauve is a bit lighter and warmer.
Do you need both? No but if you find one or the other in store BUY IT! It's always out of stock and for a good reason.
Sephora Cream Lip Stain in 13 (Marvelous Mauve) VS Stila Liquid Lipstick in Patina
Colour Pop Lippie Stix in Heart On VS Mac Flat Out Fabulous
Mac Flat Out Fabulous is one of my favorite lipsticks! This shade is so unique that it took me quite a while to find a dupe. The closest I found is the Colour Pop Lippie Stick in Heart On.
On my arm it looks darker and a bit more berry. On the lips they look more similar simply because FOF has a Retro Matte finish and they never swatch well on my arm!
Are they perfect dupes? No. Are they close enough that you wouldn't need both? Yes!
Colour Pop Lippie Stix in Heart On VS Mac Flat Out Fabulous
Wet n Wild Megalast Lipstick in Mocha-licious VS Kat Von D everlasting liquid lipstick in Lolita
Wet n Wild Megalast Lipstick in Mocha-licious VS Kat Von D Everlasting Liquid Lipstick in Lolita:
Kat Von D Lolita was a tough one. I don't own any liquid lipstick that look like it. I've heard people say that the NYX Soft Matte Lip Cream in Cannes is similar but I strongly disagree. It is the closest liquid lipstick I own to it but it's far from a dupe.
If you don't mind getting a lipstick instead then I recommend checking out the Wet n Wild Megalast Lipstick in Mocha-licious. It is a bit darker brown but it's the closest I have!
Wet n Wild Megalast Lipstick in Mocha-licious, Kat Von D everlasting liquid lipstick in Lolita, NYX Soft Matte Lip Cream in Cannes.
It was that time of the year again and I couldn't resist to pick up some more makeup products during the Sephora Sale!
Swatches :
Kat Von D Shade + Light Eye Contour Palette
The main reason I placed an order on the Sephora website as soon as the sale starts was to get the Kat Von D Shade + Light Eye Contour Palette. No regrets so far as the colors look even better in person. I haven't tried it yet but I did swatch them for the picture and they were REALLY creamy and pigmented!
Too Faced Natural Matte Eyeshadow Palette
The Too Faced Natural Matte Eyeshadow Palette was a total impulse buy. At first I wanted to try the Tarte Tartelette Palette but 1 it was sold out 2 it's limited edition and I try to avoid using too many of those in videos. When I saw this one I knew it would be a perfect replacement and again the colors look beautiful!
I cannot wait to create looks with these - what's your favorite?
For anyone wondering this year Birthday Gift is this beautiful set:
Sephora VIB Birthday Gift 2015
You get the Nars Satin lip pencil in Rikugien and the Nars Velvet Matte lip pencil in Cruella. If you are a VIB Rouge you also get the Nars Larger than life long wear eyeliner in Via Veneto!
NYX Matte Lipsticks (L-R) Euro Trash, Whipped Caviar, Natural, Tea Rose and Audrey
These lipsticks look so similar especially if you're looking to buy one of them online so I thought I would show you swatches and give you the perfect description!
Euro Trash: Brown neutral shade. It is the closest one to Mac Velvet Teddy but it's not quite brown enough to be a perfect dupe!
Whipped Caviar: My favorite of the bunch! It's a beautiful cool toned mauve nude. The perfect dupe for Mac Brave and extremely similar to Mac Faux. If you have a warm skin tone this could wash you out - check out the other ones!
Natural: Natural is a hint more pink than Whipped Caviar. It is probably the most universally flattering shade as it is pretty neutral!
Tea Rose: It has the most red and warmth compare to the previous two but I would still consider it a nude. It's a hint lighter than Mac Mehr but close enough that I would recommend it if you're looking for a dupe!
Audrey: If you feel like you can't pull of the 90's lip trend this is the most toned down pink of the NYX Matte lipsticks range!
It's finally starting to feel like Spring and that's when my makeup changes the most! I thought I would share some swatches on the Maybelline Rebel Bloom lipsticks!
These are sheer but buildable lipsticks that are really moisturizing. For that reason they only last around 3-4h on my lips which is still pretty reasonable!
My favorite shades are : Blushing Bud, Lilac Flush and Coral Burst
My least favorites : Barely Bloom (white base and emphasize dryness), Petal Pink (white base) Hibiscus Pop (Not as pigmented and doesn't last as well)
Maybelline Rebel Bloom lipsticks in Barely Bloom, Blushing Bud, Petal Pink and Hibiscus Pop
Maybelline Rebel Bloom lipsticks in Power Peony, Lilac Flush, Orchid Ecstasy and Rose Rush
Maybelline Rebel Bloom lipsticks in Coral Burst and Peach Poppy
I've been wanting to keep up with my blog but with school and my Youtube channel I haven't had much time. I'm planning on being more present this summer though and I thought I would start by sharing my swatches of the Anastasia Beverly Hills liquid lipsticks.
L-R: Milk Shake, Pure Hollywood, Lovely, Sweet Talker, Carina, Party Pink, Retro Coral, Electric Coral, Bloodline, American Doll, Sad Girl and Vintage.
L-R: Milk Shake, Pure Hollywood, Lovely, Sweet Talker, Carina, Party Pink, Retro Coral, Electric Coral, Bloodline, American Doll, Sad Girl and Vintage.
I feel like I've heard reviews that are either saying these are the best products ever invented or that they really sucks. I feel like the truth is actually somewhere in the middle.
If you are on a budget and want to try liquid lipsticks I wouldn't recommend these (Try the Sephora Cream Lip Stains instead!) But if you are a makeup lover and there's a few colors in the line that you can't stop thinking about then it's worth it!
Personally I don't regret buying them - except maybe getting Bloodline as it looks REALLY similar to American Girl. Would I purchase more shades? Probably not unless I place another order for another reason.
Shipping is quite expensive if you don't live in the USA ($17.95) the good news is I never had to pay duty fees with ABH because they write the worth of the package at 1$. Unless it's opened to check you'll be okay! If you create an account and place your first order use "welcome10" to get 10% off!
Compare to other brands these mix extremely well either with each other or other lip products!
Milk Shake
Milk Shake: Extremely light white base peach neutral shade. It's really unique, really unwearable for most people. The formula of this one is not good - a white ring around the inner part of your lips will form and any lines or dryness will show! But it is a really good color to mix with the other ones!
Pure Hollywood
Pure Hollywood: This nude shade has to be the most popular of the range! I wish it was a hint more purple but I know I'll love it during the summer with a hint of a tan.
Lovely
Lovely: Lovely is well... a lovely color! It's a warm everyday pink color that would suit a lot of different skin tones.
Sweet Talker
Sweet Talker: Although this warm coral pink shade is beautiful the formula is sheer and uneven. I would either wear it with something underneath or apply a few layers - which reduces the longevity. If you were thinking about getting this one I would get the next one ;)
Carina
Carina: Carina is easily one of my favourite shade of the range. This pink tone coral as just enough red in it to be really flattering. I highly recommend it as the formula of this one is AMAZING!
Party Pink
Party Pink: This bubblegum pink will make heads turn. Perfect bright barbie pink for spring and summer! (The right color is on the edge of my lips - If someone knows how to fix the color let me know as it uploads to blogspot this way no matter what I try!)
Retro Coral
Retro Coral: White base creamsicle orange. The color is beautiful but the formula isn't the best. It is a little uneven and show any lines or dry patches.
Electric Coral
Electric Coral: This colors is absolutely beautiful. There's just enough red in this coral to make it the perfect shade for spring and summer - day or night! This color would work on anyone!
Bloodline
Bloodline: Warm red with a hint of brown. This color would work especially well on warm skin tones even more if you are tan!
American Doll
American Doll: Let me point out the obvious here... it looks extremely similar to Bloodline. It's a hint darker and cooler kinda like Mac Russian Red. Don't get both just choose one!
Sad Girl
Sad Girl: This color should be called Badass not Sad Girl. Although it is a little uneven I really don't mind as it is one of the most unique and beautiful color of the range. It as a hint of gold shimmer in it and it is the perfect dark berry shade.
Vintage
Vintage: Last but not least, Vintage is a beautiful purple color. It is a bit darker and more grey than Mac Heroine. It is also one of my favorite!
Priced at 20$ this liquid lipsticks performance is pretty average. They will last through talking, kissing, drinking water and light eating. After a regular meal the color on the inside of your lips will disappear.
I wouldn't say that it's terrible considering the Stila Stay All Day Liquid Lipsticks perform the same way but considering it's also the case for the NYX Soft Matte Lip Creams that are way cheaper.... well that's why I would say they're only worth it if you are willing to spend the money for a specific color!
Here's my Youtube video on them for live swatches and more infos:
