I've been wanting to keep up with my blog but with school and my Youtube channel I haven't had much time. I'm planning on being more present this summer though and I thought I would start by sharing my swatches of the Anastasia Beverly Hills liquid lipsticks.

I feel like I've heard reviews that are either saying these are the best products ever invented or that they really sucks. I feel like the truth is actually somewhere in the middle.
If you are on a budget and want to try liquid lipsticks I wouldn't recommend these (Try the Sephora Cream Lip Stains instead!) But if you are a makeup lover and there's a few colors in the line that you can't stop thinking about then it's worth it!
Personally I don't regret buying them - except maybe getting Bloodline as it looks REALLY similar to American Girl. Would I purchase more shades? Probably not unless I place another order for another reason.
Shipping is quite expensive if you don't live in the USA ($17.95) the good news is I never had to pay duty fees with ABH because they write the worth of the package at 1$. Unless it's opened to check you'll be okay! If you create an account and place your first order use "welcome10" to get 10% off!
Compare to other brands these mix extremely well either with each other or other lip products!
Milk Shake |
Milk Shake: Extremely light white base peach neutral shade. It's really unique, really unwearable for most people. The formula of this one is not good - a white ring around the inner part of your lips will form and any lines or dryness will show! But it is a really good color to mix with the other ones!
Pure Hollywood |
Pure Hollywood: This nude shade has to be the most popular of the range! I wish it was a hint more purple but I know I'll love it during the summer with a hint of a tan.
Lovely |
Lovely: Lovely is well... a lovely color! It's a warm everyday pink color that would suit a lot of different skin tones.
Sweet Talker |
Sweet Talker: Although this warm coral pink shade is beautiful the formula is sheer and uneven. I would either wear it with something underneath or apply a few layers - which reduces the longevity. If you were thinking about getting this one I would get the next one ;)
Carina |
Carina: Carina is easily one of my favourite shade of the range. This pink tone coral as just enough red in it to be really flattering. I highly recommend it as the formula of this one is AMAZING!
Party Pink |
Party Pink: This bubblegum pink will make heads turn. Perfect bright barbie pink for spring and summer! (The right color is on the edge of my lips - If someone knows how to fix the color let me know as it uploads to blogspot this way no matter what I try!)
Retro Coral |
Retro Coral: White base creamsicle orange. The color is beautiful but the formula isn't the best. It is a little uneven and show any lines or dry patches.
Electric Coral |
Electric Coral: This colors is absolutely beautiful. There's just enough red in this coral to make it the perfect shade for spring and summer - day or night! This color would work on anyone!
Bloodline |
Bloodline: Warm red with a hint of brown. This color would work especially well on warm skin tones even more if you are tan!
American Doll |
American Doll: Let me point out the obvious here... it looks extremely similar to Bloodline. It's a hint darker and cooler kinda like Mac Russian Red. Don't get both just choose one!
Sad Girl |
Sad Girl: This color should be called Badass not Sad Girl. Although it is a little uneven I really don't mind as it is one of the most unique and beautiful color of the range. It as a hint of gold shimmer in it and it is the perfect dark berry shade.
Vintage |
Vintage: Last but not least, Vintage is a beautiful purple color. It is a bit darker and more grey than Mac Heroine. It is also one of my favorite!
Priced at 20$ this liquid lipsticks performance is pretty average. They will last through talking, kissing, drinking water and light eating. After a regular meal the color on the inside of your lips will disappear.
I wouldn't say that it's terrible considering the Stila Stay All Day Liquid Lipsticks perform the same way but considering it's also the case for the NYX Soft Matte Lip Creams that are way cheaper.... well that's why I would say they're only worth it if you are willing to spend the money for a specific color!
Here's my Youtube video on them for live swatches and more infos:
